Decent size bedroom :). Especially the height, more than usual here. Quite frankly a bit of a worry, especially if it is empty.
Although I am (no longer) a big fan of passive set-ups (they are essentially the pits if you do mobile work, compared to the easy of use and redundancy of active speakers), but since this is more of an installation sort of thing, that’s what we’ll run with.

Various questions to answer before getting any advice from me :

    • In what way will the speakers be used most, practice or full room gig?
    • Do you want a 2 or 4 speaker set up?
    • What max. sound level are you looking for (high volume is too relatively)?
    • What budget do you have?
    • How much space do you want the speakers to occupy?
    • Do they have to go on speaker stands or is ceiling/high wall mounting the speakers (flying) an option?
    • Do you want speakers in the middle of one side (next to DJ stand/booth?) or at the outer corners?

    Enough questions for now.

    • Thank u Chuck for ur reply & concern , I really need it from someone professional like you .
    • Passive compare to Powered Speakers in Sound quality away differences ???

    – I’ll use it as for full room ( 12 persons max ) As for practicing as i searched over its better to go for Active Studio Monitors 6 or 8 inches ( Correct me if am wrong & Suggest please ) .
    – I thought to go with 2 speakers ( with Sub if need it ) but i already did the Wiring & cabling for 4 speakers .
    – As long its a Basement with Isolated foam & Gypsum i think will go With High volume but Quality comes 1st .
    – 2000 to 2800 $ ( Speakers with Sub if need it plus AMP ) i have no issue if i go with Two than later with others two Speakers .
    – Not really big issue for size .
    – It will be with stands coz already wires from under ground
-I prefer it next to Dj but as u’ll suggest i’ll go .
And please suggest if u have any idea about the JBL PRX 412m or any Better soloution
Appreciate ur help & support .

Key is to get the speakers high enough, so I would recommend to add quality mounts between woofer and speaker, so you can get them up in the air safely and use really good cables.
Locally at my dealer I can get the whole bundle with cables for 2500 Euros, so it should be around 2000 dollars and you still have some budget for lights if you like…

Thanx for your help . Max in Room is 20 persons
Sorry just to make it clear , 4 speakers with 4 Sub OR 2 speakers with 2 Sub ?
And Is there any difference between ZXA1 and ZXA1-90B ? And do i have to get them together or i go for first 2 ZXA1 with 2 Sub then upgrade later ??
