ParticipantHey Strix! Honestly I haven’t had enough time to fiddle with it but, from what I can see, it’s a small BEAST!
8 pads and 8 knobs might seem like too few but once you realize it has 4 presets you can switch on the fly you end up with 32 pads and 32 knobs.
(Plus, From some of the videos I’ve seen, you can work around to “have more”).
Plug and play, and easy recognizable by Traktor. I’m still trying to map it as a remix deck controller and still haven’t gotten what I want it to do exactly, but would blame my short experience with mapping for that.
I got it for $60 on amazon (almost half price). Overal, great product!

ParticipantThanks GerdB!
The one in the djtechtools is close to what I wanted to map. I want to use the lpd8 to control one remix deck but I want to be able to adjust more parameters (such as individual volumes with knobs, scrolling down and up the sample pages, etc.).
I was sort of able to play and mute each sample (but for some reason I had to press twice the pad for each action) and couldn’t find the command to control indiviual volume levels and filters. Will dl the mapping u send and analize it. There should be a bunch of ideas in there I can accomodate to what I want to do.Tahnks again!
