MemberI was going to just Get Out Of This Thread as my sole Purpose here is to Help Tony;
And I Don’t Own a Mixtrack Pro; however; Tony asks a Question; I Answer it; I can’t see the Problem;
However; before I go; I would like to Quote ‘mr Stifffy’ in an Earlier Post:mixtrack pro contains a sound card but with only OUTPUTS
So; if Tony Needs a Sound Card ‘With’ Inputs’; it looks like a Sound Card other than the one Built In to the Mixtrack Pro would be Appropriate; however; it is Tony’s Money; and Tony’s Set-Up; He Knows What He Needs; I Don’t

This is just One small Aspect of DJ’ing Mills; and if you have No Interest in ‘Scratching’; then just Keep Doing What You Are Doing’; and All Will Be Cool 😎
I Don’t Care what Anyone says to me; but; ‘Hey You Can Scratch – What Else Can You Do’ ?Emma Partnow

Yes; it will Always mean using another Monitor Unfortunately (but then Vlamyr may have one – or he may have a Laptop like my Old One that only had one USB Port and an Internet Connection but Nothing Else :));

MemberI Completely Agree; as I am Happy with the Software I use; and if I were to buy a Controller with Software Included that I have Tried and decided that it wasn’t for me (that Bumped up the Price); it would make a Difference as to whether I bought that Particular Controller;
But; for someone starting out New; or buying their First Controller; and having only used Free DJ Software (or an LE Version of some Software); and were to get a Full Version of the Software they Desire; Plus a Controller of their Choice; I think that it would be Wonderful for that person;
However; a Friend of mine recently spent £100 on an External Sound Card that came with Cakewalk; now; nothing against Cakewalk; but I gave up using that Software when I was 18; so it would have been a Waste for me;Emma Partnow

I Unfortunately Missed the Vinyl/Technics Days due to my Age; but My God; What Skill to be able to play as a Duo for the First Time; and Produce Such Magic !
I would Never have Believed DJ Shadow was Caucasian; as he is a Magician/Hero to me 😎Rob Francis, post: 3588 wrote: Possibly the most famous Digital DJ?

This Man doesn’t have to Concern himself with the Crowd; HE IS Richie Hawtin; the Man who I Discovered For Myself in a CD Box that my Dad Left Me; when Richie Hawtin was Robotman; and his Track ‘Do Do Do’; I thought he was a Genius then; and he has Evolved into a Digital Genius; His Status is My Dream; he doesn’t just Play Records; he Creates Tracks from Sounds; and he Needs to Keep looking at his Laptop 🙂
Did you see me in the Crowd at 6.32 ?That was just 16 Minutes of (Dare I say it) Pure Ecstacy Rob 🙂 🙂 🙂
This is Why I Am A DJ; and Why I no Longer Need Drugs to Appreciate Pure Joy 😎 😎 😎
Thank You 🙂Emma Partnow
MemberRob Francis, post: 3585 wrote: @Emma Jeff Mills is awesome! I have all those tracks on vinyl, used to be a big Purpose Maker / Mills fan years ago.
The ‘Ending’ of the ‘Full Version’ of ‘Fingers Inc – Can You Feel It’ that he has Spinning on Deck 3; I Cut out myself Years Ago to use (still waiting for the Right Time); and when I saw this Video where Jeff Mills had done the Same I Felt Thrilled that for at least ‘One Moment In Time’ Jeff Mills and I were thinking the Same Thing 🙂 🙂
Edit:
Why did I say that when it is a ‘Trade Secret’ 😉Emma Partnow
MemberI am also a Sound Engineer; and having worked with Live Bands over a period of Years; it just comes Naturally to me that with DJ’ing; Sound is also As Important (if not More So in my Opinion);
However; I am Definitely with Phil on the ‘Ropey’ 192kbs MP3; if i can ‘Clean’ it up (and there is No Other Way of Obtaining a Better Quality Copy); I will Happily play it 🙂Emma Partnow

I use VDJ 7 pro and Numark Total Control. I think I’ve learnt to use my setup, pretty well, but now I want to start mixing videos, but I can’t get a video output independent from the software screen. Any help is wellcome.
I have no idea if this link will be Helpful to you Vlamyr; but give it a click and see;
It gives you the opportunity to have One Screen on your Laptop; and another Screen on another Monitor; or even to Project that onto a Wall 🙂
