I Loved that News Report; but Funnily enough; the part I Liked the Most was the 2 people (maybe in their late 40’s) sitting down on Deck Chairs Enjoying the Show 🙂
I have seen News Reports from a Rolling Stones Concert where people were Killed or Seriously Enjoyed by Security;
But putting aside the Terrible Events of 2010 (which were Not the Fault of the People); I can’t think of One out of Thousands of ‘Dance/DJ Events’ where people have been Killed; so I Don’t see the Reason for the Police 🙁But Like You; Without Music; and the Abilty To Express Ourselves Emotionally Through Music; I don’t know Where I would be today Either;

Hey…guess what? Most of the people voting in these polls are not DJs. They’re not even people who are deep into the music like we are. They’re clubbers who really only go out for booths/bottles/attention or for some massive name DJ…the very guys who normally are in the top 15.
Maybe instead of people griping why their favorite guy didn’t make the top 10, they should praise that he/she got into the list with the bazillion other DJs out there…and if the guy didn’t even get into the list. WHO CARES?
I don’t think people who supported said DJ will stop supporting him/her just because he/she didn’t get into the list.

You are Correct; and it is ‘Just A Matter Of Choice’;
If it were DJ’s who were Voting each year; we would Probably see a Different List; but a List where They would get a Winner one year (because of some Stomping Gigs); but for that DJ Never to Appear again;

I Was Having a Wobbly after watching some Videos and Reading some Articles about DJ’ing;
But Your Words have been Exceptionally Reassuring; Thank You;
Having Begun my DJ’ing Career Playing Illegal Raves; being Picked Up by a Promotional/Production Company and Moving onto the Club Circuit; (fitting in the Monthly Private Parties – always in Hush Hush Locations); my Career was Flying; and I Couldn’t Have Dreamed of a More Priviledged Life; but to then be Hit by Tragedy After Tradegy was just Unfortunate; (for Me and my Blossoming Career); however; to come back in 2010 Could Never Have Been Forseen;
I Changed my DJ Name (as I Couldn’t Accept Myself as a Person with a Number Of Disabilities); and Began Again; using Just My Belief In Myself and the Skills I Had Learned; and Of Course Moved From Hardware to Digital 🙂Having to Turn Down Gigs in Miami; Canada; Belgium; Rome; and Madrid in 2010 was a Real Sickener; but with the ‘Acceptance Of Self’ and ‘Willingness To Continue’; even Emotional Challenges such as these can be Overcome;
I Love the way Both You D-Jam and Phil are ‘Spreading Yourselves’ across the Internet;
And I see the ‘Days Of The Quick Buck’ or ‘The 15 Minutes Of Fame’ as a Long Gone Thing Of The Past;

If you wish to place YouTube Links in future; all you do is Copy the Link from the ‘Share’ Option on the YouTube Track;
Then; in the Message you are writing on here; if you press the Button to the Left of at the Top of the Message you are writing on here; a Box will come up; then you just Paste the Link into that Box; Press ‘Embed’; and then when your message is Published your YouTube Video will appear;
