They cannot REALLY force you because they pretty much can’t get you as a mobile Dj. Unless you get lucky 😉 But I think that hotel manegment can annoy you with such things.

Yeah I know that clubs pay licenses, it was more about Mobile djing. Didn’t mention it explicit.
Thx for answering…so again one more meaningless law.

And…almost forgot: PLEASE, JUST DON’T SPAM! It won’t make you better. Rather spend you time for music than advertisement.

If you post REGULARY on for example YouTube you will sooner or later get some specter of audience and later get noticed by some kind of producer, label (smaller or bigger) hopefully nice one (someone who knows his work well).
I think that the key to success is to keep doing what you like CONTINUOUSLY. Let people get in your workflow and that will bring expectations for MORE. If you just do something every now and then than you don’t act professionally so people won’t take you serious.

I just know it by a chance, because a girl from my school succeeded that way as a singer. Now she has quite a little fun with her new producer from Germany. She also brought my schoolmate (he is director) into the busines (he is making music videos for her).

Than you will be able to reach iTunes and other sites where you will eventually sell something (or gig somewhere).

Also check her out (this girl) on YT: julia aljaz

    Hope U succeed 🙂

One tip: show them Pete Tong: It’s all gone.
Love this movie. It reminds people how important the ears are and also show deaf people that they can succeed becoming DJs.
You can watch it for free on YouTube!

Never give up with your great work!

    Haha awesome!
Even if I don’t know you (I mean..I do a bit now after interview 😉 ) I love the way you think. Agree with you about all the things you said. Specially about dubstep. I am more kinda melodic type of person. Music must have actual phrases: from piano to forte and back to piano and not just fortissimo 24/7.

Ok….27 or 49$ is acceptable. But why on earth 500$?!

I have PS and I’m planing to ask my dad to help me with it. He’s an architect and he draws beautifully. Probably a solution should also be just cropping some details from various pictures and make your own.

And ty for link sir! 🙂

Hello Don, I joined because this site offers me people that share same love for music with me. And because of nice reviews of many devices…and some nice guides too!

Dj Emazing, post: 40150, member: 9575 wrote: Hold on a sec, the Numark N4 is a great 4 deck dj controller. Yes it’s made out of plastic but that is just about the bad thing about it. The and N4 is also a stand alone mixer(So you can add turn tables or cdj if you want), it works with virtual dj, traktor and serato dj intro(serato dj this summer). Don’t listen or read bias reviews just because djs have one thing and don’t have the other. If you really want to know what you want to get you have to do research on websites. Every controller has it’s ups and downs no controller is better than any controller out there. Only the dj makes best of what he/she can do with their equipment.

I like to show you proof, here is me using the Numark N4 with music videos

If you want me to show you a more in depth video of me djing on the numark n4 let me know.

Nice. THAT is nice. I was just trying to say that some controllers just give you more options than the others. You are really good using N4 but it doesn’t mean that you get same amount of stuff from two different controllers out of the box. I guess faders last longers on some controllers and sometimes they are replacable. Those little things make your gear last longer and in conjunction with careful usage u get really nice device.

    Great vid btw!

Imho if you buy n4 you won’t get anything really awesome because when you pay less than 400€ on a controller you can only expect plastic kinda c***. If you need something portable why not Traktor Kontrol S4? It is nice, not that big and light due to plastic as a main material. And it is MADE FOR traktor. If you want you can add f1 and have 2 devices from the same manufacturer. If you somehow wanna pick one out of your suggestions then i recommend you VCI 400.

Also, I see mpk mini more like a portable production device but ok, knobs and pads may be useful for effects too. But I have no clue how they work with trakor.

Sometimes is just better to save up some cash and then buy something better, specially in music industry. For example, I bought hi-fi speakers (kinda 1500€ ea) and then a very good cable for them. I almost dropped dead when I was told that it cost pretty much like speakers.

Totally agree about the size but it is pretty light. And yeah i missed the portability part. My bad. The VCI 400 will do then.
