    I initially bought the SP’s then upgraded to the 1’s. The SP’s are still excellent, very lightweight and comfortable, although you notice the isolation is better on the 1’s. I’d consider buying used if you can, I’ve never used any of the ‘new breed’ of headphones so can’t comment on them, but you soon realise why most of the big names use the sennheiser’s

    I’d check out mixes on youtube by people like waze & odyssey, dj sneak, and ben ufo, they tend to play this sort of music and keep it interesting. Ben ufo mixes it up with techno and garage though.

    As a sidenote, how do you find the quality CD pools, and how much does it cost you Branden? The idea of getting a 1000 tunes is tempting, but I like hunting for my own tunes, and do feel as though your tunes are generally what makes you stand out as a dj

    This has pretty much been the staple diet of the uk clubbing scene for the past year and a half. Yeh it’s very popular
