    That’s what I was thinking! Though I couldn’t find a store in my area that has the Denon MC2000 in stock, it sounds like even though the Denon is made nicer overall, the MTP2 is te way to go. Ill mess around a little to see if serato DJ is a good fit or if I should go with VDJ.

    Anyone else. Tell me I’m making a mistake if I am. Any input is still greatly appreciated.

    But can’t I just map the MTP2 or Denon to Virtual DJ? From what I understand, I should select a software first, then worry about the controller. This is why I decided VDJ. But between the two controllers, I can’t seem to decide.

    I need more input!

    So if the Mixtrack Pro 2 is the entry level controller and Denon controller is heavy duty, which one would you suggest. I want something that will last but still be able to work with Virtual DJ!

    Well I read that the Denon has better build quality. I want to make sure this controller will last me a for a long time. Why exactly would you suggest the mtp2?
