Memberone lil tip that was handed down to me many moons ago went something like this, “find a few smokin hot girls on the dancefloor, keep their asses dancing all night, and then you know you’ve done your job.. if you loose ’em, you gotta start all over again” and thats sorta how i operate today (some 10-12 years later)

Memberthis is what suck about playing top 40 to bone heads that want party rock anthem 19million times a night.. i made myself a rule when i started playin out.. no repeats.. if you missed it the first time owe well (but my wallet is always hungry, feed it and see what happens.. im sucha whore) but remixes are ok as long as they are well off the original track like the example track “kickstarts” the dub step is a million time diff than the original, so i can drop that song twice witout breaking my own rule

MemberI can’t stand the guy, his music is all the same 130 bpm house beats with souless vocals and synth lines.. sure his music will rock a pop crowd and he’s crossed boundries yada yada yada but its not hard when you use massively popular pop stars like rhianna and usher.. ask any dj in a top 40 type scene and they will tell you that they gets requests for the “new” rihanna or usher with no reference to mr. guetta. so personally i think he sucks and is un-inspirering

Memberim not too much into effects as im more hiphop/turntablist oriented as a dj so jog wheel size/performance is more important to me
durtyjerzy609
Memberimho.. mixing in key is a bit over rated..people hear beats.. and with effects (if one is into tweaking knobs) or by using loops creatively, you dont need the key of a track.. just rock the funky break, but im a turntablist so what do i know

Memberresidencies are good, they build your rep and your confidence. they also give you the chance to play with other dj’s and learn new tips and tricks.

Memberdjtechtools has tons of overlays and midi maps for the s2 with alot of mods available as well. if your looking to go down the contoller route id say youve made a solid choice and should hop on it.
