Shoot, looking back at my first post I realised it’s really ambiguous; something I was trying to avoid. Ah well. The problem is the Main Levels (top-right corner) peak before I can reach 0dB on my track levels. Just wondering if this is normal? Is 0dB on the track levels supposed to push it well into the orange on the main? I’m used to keeping out of the orange on my Denon mixer (let big kicks occasionally hit the orange). Is it okay to constantly be in the orange in traktor?
edit: when I adjust gain I mean to odB on the track levels not just reset gain to 0dB. I think all my songs would peak if left at 0dB on the gain, I always end up lowering the gain a bit. Sorry that wasn’t clear.
