    Your bigger problem is in your title. ..”drunken teens”.

    I am a mobile dj, have a sub. to promo only & VDJ’s content unlimited. Now know I wont get high $$$ starting out, but the perception around here is $100 for the entire gig is good enough. Might have a $$ gig next week, we’ll see. Been playing @ my church on Thursdays for our youth group.

    I didnt have many other controllers; had a mixtrack/DJIO setup for about 3 days, went into my local Best Buy, and they had the DJC.4 on clearance for $230 (they are closing the Musical Instrument section). It got good reviews on here, and this was on the Stanton website:

    Seemed perfect to start again on..but I only know about this one and the mixtrack 🙂

    I dont use 4 decks alot; i have before, and it takes getting used to (‘deck select button’), but most of the time i just use 2. that said, im not trying to be a “club” dj, worked that scene for 13 years on Bourbon st. (emcee mostly),just a mobile/wedding/party guy. dont know if the 4 separte sliders would help in that case…good luck !

    ive tried this one with Traktor (DJC.4), didnt care for the mapping. And it also controls video, which Traktor doesnt do.
    they did a really good job, working with Atomix to make the skin/mapping for this, whats on the screen is exactly whats on the controller.

    I have the Stanton DJC.4; like it so far, check it out! only works with VDJ though
