I have seen the Modifier option in the “Controller Manager” tab in the settings (Im using Traktor Pro, the older 3 version). Thats a really useful tip thanks! I was wondering though about having to completely re-map the controller, what about controllers with intentionally blank buttons such as the Vestax VCI 400 (hypothetical question as the vci400 already has 4 channel faders)?
These questions are in the context of me buying a controller that I could potentially use for mostly home practice, but solid and professional enough for the occasional club/bar gig. I currently have a biweekly residency at a bar in China where I am currently living and they have CDJ 2000’s, DJM 2000, SL3 etc. But I havent had a controller at home to practice with.
