Just mix-n-match, in my opinion is the best way to go, throw around one genre and then throw around another genre, I wouldn’t stick to one genre nomore than 15 mins, after all its not a club setting environment, its a family reunion, gotta keep EVERYONE happy, from lil kids, raging teens all to way to moms n pops, mammaws n pappaws and so on

The bpm shouldn’t that matter although a 160 bpm its not something i recommended lol

Mix-N-Match your style prolly be the best bet, find out if they having some kind of games/contest during the annual ? So you can prepared to play some “funny” tunes to accompany the games/contest.

“My idea is to split the day into styles, eg for the lunch time (eg 12-2) I’m thinking rock n roll.”

And Lord have mercy, you doing this all by yourself, and you planning to play something during the lunch time, err are you not having the lunch yourself ? That would be awful !

Hellow EB, and welcome to the forum,

I suggest not rushing yourself to get a brand new shiny controller ( I know how tempting that is), plus I know how it is being a co-ed and all, stick what Chuck suggested to you

I like this one, in particular is the logo one, the fonts needs a lil bit of work, to give you an edge of the”raw”ness, i just don’t see it in the current one

You really need to determined before the events, if your existence there to rock the place or for just some background music purpose ?

That’s where you can adjust the volumes accordingly
