    It might be because your controller came with only Virtual DJ LE, LE means Limited Edition, check out the comparison charts below,
    (PS err why I cant post link?)

    Under “Effect Plugins”, your LE comes in “limited”, so maybe thats why you can only use those 2 fx, might wanna opt to upgrade it to the full version of Virtual DJ

    Yes I did tried it with Numark Mixtrack Pro I, it recognized instantly in Serato DJ intro, and in Serato DJ the 14 days trial optional things pops up (in the right side of the playlist windows), which it did not pop at all when i tried my vci 300

    I also, of course, use the same USB cable both in the Numark Mixtrack Pro and the VCI 300

    Must be a firmware issues, too bad they don’t just provide the link when you can manually download it thru the websites and install it manually

    I tried the link you mentioned Terry, but alas, since the ITCH didnt even recognize my vci 300 (when i plugged my vci 300 to my mac Maverick OS and run ITCH) thus the firmware updates windows not poppin up ! LOL. All it showin was the General USB buffer size windows thats it, no firmware windows

    To rollback to the previous version of OSX its too much pain, since I do not owned the DVD of the OSX, the other solution prolly try to bootcamp windows 7 on it, my vci 300 been running fine before in windows 7 environment before with ITCH running

    Might wanna check out the Mashup software by the same company that made Mix in key also, it helps you a bit by blending and mashing up songs

    What Terry meant by the stone age is because, the setting up CDJ-1000 and Traktor is just that “stone age”, we Digital DJ embraced more to the simplicity, so why bother with the complicated setup, if the more easiest solution available

    I’m in torn between the 25s and v-moda crossfade LP2, but alas the 25s is way too expensive for me right now, i prolly settle with the LP2,
