what I mean is when it comes to playing at gigs should I play the genre that I want to play

Most of the time, when its involving “gig” its not what YOU want to play, YOU play for the crowd, unless you like playin at the gigs with an empty crowd

I would go checked out some transition that many folks already “pre-made” there are like thousands of those scattered around the net Like ” Bla bla bla (Transition 100-130) ” with many varieties of bpm transition, 130-68, 70-128, 65-129. etc

Ghetto funk and a re-drum – rework pre 80’s, 90’s classic disco always good for opener also

You forgot the most important bit of info. What you’re going to do with it. Four to the floor 128 bpm EDM can be done with anything (keyboard, mouse, sync, done!),

A Wedding DJ armed with only a laptop ? that would look incredibly silly and unprofessional in the eyes of the clients

All you gotta do is when they ready to switched, played from the cdj, thus free up the controller duty, while the cdj playin the next DJ can switch the laptop and what not,

Also there is that new Pioneer controller DJ that have 2 usb port

So Deep House can be bridged smoothly to Ghetto Funk ? what about after Ghetto Funk? what other genre can bridge it to another genre ?

For example, I opens up my set with Deep House, (PS im a multi-genre DJ so its interesting for me to know =))

    Deep House –> Ghetto Funk –> ???

Or should I open my sets first with Ghetto Funk instead ?

Bring a very known local talents with you for your event, “a very known” means not only he/she pretty popular among the locals, he/she can bring a good number of heads to the event

Present this in your proposal to the manager/club owner
