i have CDJ 1000s and a DJM 700. i know i can map the 700 to traktor, not sure how easy that is or whether its actually worth doing?
after doing a bit of research since making the OP, it seems the best solution for me would might be to get an X1 and an audio 2, which i can take to gigs or wherever with the laptop and use those alongside the club/bar’s installation. or sell the DJM and get a Z2.
with regards to software, is traktor more flexible in what equipment you can use to control it? i have limited knowledge but doesnt serato kind of limit you to integrated all in one controllers and is more for vinyl/cd (timecode?) enthusiasts? happy for input on software choice, really dont mind.
