I just noticed that when using iTunes node to select tracks from iTunes playlists folder you cannot see tracks in sub folders or playlists

Hey Vintage, things happen. All operating systems and software and hardware hiccup to someone somewhere everyday. This time was your turn.
I think it was petty of me to point out Cross left out the deck 2 gain control for the mapping of Denon MC-2000. Maybe the same guy programmed your SC2900’s maps and audio? OK not a funny joke right. But seriously I cannot explain it, I am very moved to stick with Cross. I like all the compatibility they have from any soundcard for DVS, import 3rd party playlists (export Rekordbox) and as I mentioned before they got the remote app correct. I love the GUI too. All the features. I used Serato DJ 1.6.3 to work this past weekend. I always said Serato “sounded” the best (compared to Traktor) but I believe Mixvibes “sounds” just as nice now. Almost as warm as analog. I am not turning this into a comparative discussion. I just want to have somewhere to talk to other users of Cross as most of my local DJ friends don’t use anything else but one DJ program. I cannot help I am a fanatic of DJ technology, thus we are on this website. It’s good to have alternatives.

Well I downloaded 3.2.1 and all my issues are fixed NICE! Don’t know if I will be using it except when I am in a situation to use the remote app (which I like, best on the market).
Also, I noticed when I used my Denon MC-2000 they didn’t program a deck 2 gain knob (deck 1 has) LOL and you can’t program it in unless you duplicate the mapping first and program it to the copy. Easy enough but what did I pay $50 for? Who over looks these things when programing them SMH.

Well, I did the same. That is, I erased the program and the went to the Mixvibes site and downloaded a fresh copy. Installed opens and works with the standard “built-in” output. To answer your question, yes it does recognize my other soundcards but when I click on it I get a message that it cannot use it and suggest that perhaps I am using it with another program (which I am not). Note I have installed drivers and also my soundcards work with all other software. I left a dropbox video link but I link yuo have to copy-paste if you care to see. I haven’t had time to mess with it more. Sticking to my old set u for now. I will try again soon. I will post here or maybe we should start 3.2 thread rather than the RC.

So I decided to re-format the Mac back to factory as when I opened the box the day I bought it. So I am now on Lion. Both Cross DJ 3.1 and 3.2 installed just fine. However 3.2 is not recognizing my sound card. Also note that it is not just with my Pioneer but also with my Denon MC-2000. Both work great with the stable 3.1
In fact the strangest thing, My Pioneer XDJ-Aero now is practically plug and play with 3.1 I don’t understand it. It isn’t on the list of controllers but when I plug it in it appears with its own tab on the top in the MIDI menu and works without programming.
Here’s my new problem with the release candidate. I suspect I am going to be suggested to upgrade my OS but everything is running so smooth now, I don’t know if I will. I love how fast the computer shuts down again when it is time to go home 🙂
Any advice that makes sense on how to get Cross DJ 3.2 to work is appreciated

Maybe my problem is I didn’t drag it to the app folder? I opned it from my download folder. I doubt that but I will try in a little bit. Let you know.

Hey Vintage, thanks for the fast reply. Mac OSX 10.9.3
I think I brought this problem on myself. I was using Cross 3.1 just fine over the weekend.
For several reasons I decided to wipe out my Macbook and reinstall the OS. I might have to do it again but revert back to Mountain Lion. My Pioneer XDJ-Aero won’t work with either with Rwkordbox nor Traktor LOL SMH

I am having trouble installing the RC. It just opens up my Terminal app. How about you guys? Any help appreciated as the MixVibes website forums don’t have much.
    Thanks

I downloaded it but haven’t installed it yet. 3.2 that is but I have to thank you vintage. I forgot all about this software. I got it free sometime shoe 1.5 free upgrade 2.0 but thought it was lacking some stuff I liked. I remember you raving about it on a post somewhere. Well I used it out last weekend and loved it. I felt like the sound was harsh and low end lacking a little but I am confident it was my settings (auto gain or limiter or just maybe I can lower the gain in general) what’s your sound chain like if you don’t mind me asking?
As usual I am off topic. So my thoughts on 3.2 I am not afraid to try it while working. And I must say when I work lots of my requests are from sound cloud when it’s not on amazon or in my dj pool yet.
Needless to say none of my dj friends use mixvibes (yet) so I am glad you are posting and talking about it so we can converse on it 🙂
