ParticipantI love my VESTAX VCI-300 MK2. I got it at 123dj.com it came bundled with a free wireless mic & headphones. The free headphones & mic were kinda cheap. i can use the mic but i had to get new headphones. i only payed $529.00 with 2 extra years of insurance.
amazon has it for $499.00Dj G Cue
Participantany one else here from Cali?

Honestly i have not put in my full effort, im just starting out myself and still don’t know how to beatmatch, and I just finally got CDJs. Don’t know tru. I play deep house/ hip hop remixes/ old school stuff / disco / soul. I don’t think SB is really feelin that style too much. All well, I am moving soon any how. bigger cities > more clubs, more underground scene you know.
i feel you. im just getting back in to djing…I HAVE NO MUSIC 🙁 im waitting for my bro to give me some of his music but he’s really busy so all i have to do is wait.

I spent quite a while there when I was backpacking in the late 80s. Th one thing That stuck in my mind about SB was how everyone stopped to watch the sun set over the water. Beautiful vibe.
thank you, yeah is really beutiful here…i love SB

My current goal is to get really good at recognizing song structure so I can mix in a song at almost any given point in a track. For this video I had to plan it out, but it CAN be done “on the run” with a good understanding of structure.
Also, first club gig in my home city tomorrow night!
WOW, 1ST GIG?
Good luck bro, Im sure you will rock the house.
What city you live in?Dj G Cue
Participantdo you think if i get a new flash drive and transfer the music to there and then to my external HD it will work?
