I would have been on the bandwagon to bash on Krewella, but then I saw this:

Unless a camera looked at the decks (to see if they’re on/off) then I have to assume as the video shows that they were using the stage gear as midi controls.

I’d just cruise Reddit, Mixcloud, etc…and listen to sets. You never know who you might like.

I would not worry too much. Think more “broad”, and just let your sense of taste guide you.

Go on dotster or some domain name service. Put all your name ideas in and see which one has an open domain for you to buy.

I’d only buy a mixer if you plan on using some kind of “decks” like CDJs or turntables.

If you’re doing all your “deck work” from the controller, then don’t bother with a mixer. Just buy one with mixer capabilities.

Give it a go if you want. In the end though, it’s all templates. This one happens to be morphing as your content increases.

Also bear in mind with many services that you end up paying more per month for them as opposed to basic hosting.

I agree with Scotto, but I don’t think much of anyone here can afford a $10,000 or even $1,000,000 logo.

Plus, and I’ll be honest, I’ve seen way too many occasions where a big company paid thousands to a million for a logo and brand, and ended up with garbage…like their name written in Helvetica with a poor explanation of what it all stands for.

If you log into your account on http://www.native-instruments.com/ you should be able to see your licenses and even tell them to remove certain computers you previously installed Traktor on.

Tonecraft…what’s your branding/image?

What genres do you play?

What DJs/Producers do you like/respect?

What’s your DJ style…in terms of long blends, or short edits, or turntablism, or some combo.

I’m mainly trying to see if your design fits the impression you want people to have of you.

There’s benefit now. Back in those “old days” there were no courses, no internet, and not as much competition. Even how the world looks at DJs has changed.

Better to take advantage of the resources out there now…since many of us had no such luxuries.
