    I forgot to mention “Trap music” which ALWAYS seems to be a winner. And you can’t forget those huge hits from your middleschool years. im talking “yeah” by usher and “get low” with lil john. they never fail 😉

    NKA. Here’s my advise – play what girls want, but keep it ‘dirty’. Everyone knows that guys dont care whats playing so long as the ladies are on the floor. By ‘keep it dirty’ i mean lotss of heavy hip-hop. In my experience, college kids are anticipating hip-hop when they go to a house party. This means chart toppers like Wiz Kanye and Tyga, but also some stuff people may never have heard. As long as that bassline is still there, partygoers probably wont care what kind of lyrics it is.

    I decided to put my money where my sound is, sofor house and monitors i use 2x Harbinger SPA 200w, and for gigs i use 2x Yamaha 2000w and 2x 18″ JBL 2000w with a 4000w Crown amp for the mains and 2000w Crowns for each sub with a Yamaha 10 channel mixer.

    Kanye West – Mercy (RL Grime Salva Remix). I love my Progressive House, but college demands hip-hop. I’ve dropped this all 3 nights this weekend at my frat house and people went bonkers

    However it is not Tequilla I drink, whenever they order one for me the waiter knows to bring me Ginger Ale in a shotglass. My special bottle has been shaken like mad, so there are no bubbles in the shotglass…. looks like brown Tequilla and the audience loves it…

    I’m definately going to be using that idea!

    On the topic, however, If you’re getting paid to do it, don’t drink. If I’m doing a non-paid venue like a really big house party or a campus-sponsored event, I’ll bring 3 or 4 Rockstar Energy drinks for the night. (Poured into a solo cup, rockstar looks just like beer)
