Dang!! I’m sorry to here that dude. I can believe the manager would do something like that. Somewhere down the line they will realize they have made a big mistake.
The Mixtrack Pro in my opinion is a good controller to start off. I was skeptical at first but as soon as I got a costum to the controls everything became second nature. Keep researching and find whats best for you and your style.
When I mix between EDM and Hiphop or any genre I use the acapella to get a smooth transition. This technique helps me a lot. If all else fails just slam into the next track.
Have you tried tap tempo? I use this function a lot when I feel the tempos don’t match up. The tap tempo should be available on the home version of VDJ.
