Member*sighs* well thank you all for replying, i’ll just have to save up for a new bit of gear then. i tried to get a hold of hurculese to see if they have a repair service but i never heard back from them.

MemberWhen i mix in a non electric tune i usualy try to go off the base or snare drums. if it matches up then awsome! if not then i move on to the next track. I rarely mix in those types of tracks but it’s always fun to try to mix them in.
Practice and enjoy.

MemberId say avoid Youtube. Their stance on copyright protection and flagging is so messed up it’s not even funny. Just stick with mixcloud or Soundcloud.

Have you tried all of the steps in this guide? http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/TimeCode Config.html
I think that the problem might be that your gain is either too high or too low.yes i have, and now i get a grbbled sound everytime i try to scratch. i also found out that the cartridge on deck b’s headshell is out of wack so now i have to get that replaced in order to cue correctly.
as for my audio problem im guessing it’s iether a) serato vinyl B) my controller acting as the sound card or c) my laptop’s horrid processing power…though hopefully upgrading to windows 8 will fix that.

Memberwell i fixed the Reverse issue on my vinyls but for some reason now, when i try to scratch or move the platters on deck b back and forth, i get a pixelated garbled noise, and the track will only go forward. could this just show that Serato cv02 vinyl just play well with Virtual dj pro 7?

MemberMy dj software is Virtual Dj LE, it came with my Herculese mk4 and so far it has gotten the job done. I’d really like to change it out for Traktor. but i may be able to once i can get my hands on some turntables and digital Vinyl.

MemberI’d say go for good sound quality and Comfort. I have a friend who says the V moda lp2s are great headphones but as for the Ai Ai Ais i really can’t say.

It was, in the end, a brilliant night – but I never did get to eat that lovely home-made fish pie…i know this sounds completely unprofessional but. i’d say for laughs, just hold that against your club’s boss.

MemberAvoid anime and video game based remixes. unless you are djing at a convention that is based on those genres. they will NOT go over well.
