i carry a cheap mini laptop for this reason, also i have a mini ipad w djay as backup if all else fails. shit happens, trust me it will happen from time to time. just PREPARE for it.

those are good speakers if your on a tight budget. imo its hard to beat the EV powered series , they rock and sound super clean. you can also look at the b52 matrix series, i dunno if they have em new any longer but they used to have a pr of 8’s w a 15″ sub and another set w 10’s and an 18.

that setup sounded pretty good for the price.

it depends, sometimes fx and eq manipulation works wonders! BUT sometimes keeping it simple works. it really depends on how you make of it. think of it like this. you have plain ice cream and still taste great, add sprinkles, whipped cream, etc and guess what it still tastes great! is it “better” ? that depends on the ingredients.

you can muck up ice cream if you add “too much” music is a rollercoaster ride try to make the mix or remix fit in correctly, knowing your tunes is ESSENTIAL.
