The vid reminds me of Mixmeister, but with the option to mix with platters.

I would protect them from direct sun. It is amazing how fast speakers can overheat. Shade is ideal, even an umbrella zip tied to a handle.

Mackie 450s are excellent. Lots of power and clean full sound. You won’t go wrong with them.

Check out DJ Chus. He remixes some major label dance stuff, and has a latin vibe.

I like the library navigation in Mixmeister. Being able to reorganize the library with just a mouseclick, by BPM, song title, artist title, genre, date added, etc, has been a real boon. I have used Virtual DJ and Serato Itch, and found their libraries to be tied to the folder system on the hard drive.

Hello! I have used Mixmeister for six years now, starting with Express 6 then going on to Pro 6 and now Fusion, which is the best yet. I think the biggest difference from most other programs is the static wave forms and moving cursor rather than moving wave forms and static cursor. This allows for very precise adjustments of EQs and volume, even when used live. I find it very intuitive and enjoy mixing with it live. The only down side is that it doesn’t mix well with outside sound. I wouldn’t use this to tag team, for example.

My DJ software is Mixmeister Fusion. I like it for its work flow. It is a digital sequencer designed for live use, and works very well. Rather than the usual moving wave forms passing a cursor, replicating a spinning disc passing the needle or laser, it has static wave forms and a moving cursor.
