    @Yves Creten: Thank you so so much. I will surely do that 🙂

    But can I download songs from Beatpro etc to the Macbook directly or shall I have to do it on my Laptop or PC and then transfer the data to the MAcbook or Do I need to keep my Macbook empty for ever to avoid any Crash Incident…

    Please advise…

    After going through all you professional people’s discussions …I have made a small hole in my pocket to buy a APPLE MACBOOK 🙂

    THe main reason was while I was checking the net…MY wife’s New Laptop got hung as it was updating something in the background…

    I got just a goosebump what if it happens on a DJ shows….I will be showered with whatever the audience find in their hand…

    Macbook Air MJVE2HN/A for a price of Rs. 72,000/- which is $1,155.60

    It was difficult to decide as we used to get Laptops with very good almost triple configuration, at Rs. 24,000/- which is $385.00

    However going through all the analysis and your expert advise going with MACBOOK….and I am a proud owner of one now.

    Please advise how to keep my Macbook unharmed from CRASHES now….as if it crashes I will be just done with DJing…

    I am ok with paying the royalty and I agree with you…

    However I am wondering if the original singer ever gets the money from abroad which is collected as Royalty by local agencies…

    ONLY FOR DJING and NOTHING ELSE…NO MOVIES….NO GAMES….NO INTERNET SURFING…ONLY FOR DJing…….

    To perform with a Laptop in DJ programs for about 4-5hrs… 2-3 times a week…WHAT SHOULD BE THE CONFIGURATION to RUN Smooth…WITHOUT HANGING OR BURNING ITSELF OUT… ??

    Thank you all…for being so wonderful for your time taken to share your viewpoints 🙂

    Although Macbook is good at its price…I am sure Laptops are able to Stand upto the expectation for Normal DJing….

    Like you all said, Maintenance is required for Laptops and maintenance is less required for Macbook..

    However for a Beginner, Laptop is a big motivational equipment because if it becomes a thumb rule that only Mac supports DJs….lot of beginner DJs like me would be heart-broken as initially you just want things to run smooth and you dont expect to perform like Tiesto or Armin…

    But does laptops really surprise “with a sudden stop in music”? Its scary though..??

    Etymotic will help. BUt plz check for your Hearing Damage Test by doing a Test from an Audiologist. BOth your ears should be able to trace all the sounds produced by teh Audiometer.

    Or else stay away from loud noise
