For updating Traktor you do it in the software
Help/Lounch Servicecenter….Latest MIDI mapping for MC6000 comes with the update in the zip file…
I have no problem with my MC6000,
Latest SW and .TSI from Denon Internal Mix / Mac /Only more thing I can think of is if you have your channel level very low so it is below -20db??
It should work, I know noone else who has that problem!

ParticipantYulia:
You need to turn off autosync, quantice and you can not look at the BPM numbers at all!
You need to trust your ears and use the pitchslider and pitchbend to get a tight mix.
That can take years to master but that is how it is done, no hokus pokus, just praktice practice and more praktice….
I find it rather easy after +25 years ;-)))

ParticipantIf you are running VISTA. Then just change your OS
Vista is the worse you can have…..And you will proberbly have to live with that until you changes your OS!Try Windows 7 or Windows XP.

It works well though during startup or when I set the rear switch to INT MIX.
Any solutions or ideas?
I am sorry that it took me some time to find your post!
I am currantly at home with a bad cold and heavy headake 🙁To your problem. I could not recunstruct that on my MC6000
But I have an Idea. There is a small switch right over the level meaters.
Could it be that you accidently has switched it to the middle??To the left (CH 2/3) You get the left meter for Channel 2 and the right for Channel 3)
In the middle possision (Ch 1/4) As 2/3 but for 1/4)
To the right (MASTER) You get master left and right.I hope that is the case, otherwise ask again….

ParticipantYou could get MC3000 for 599 🙂

ParticipantI think that any speaker in that pricerange is bad.
But you will proberbly get most out of your money if you get a pair of PC speakers like
Creative or logitec…..Pär Hessler
ParticipantI do not understand why anyone should buy the Zumo if they have a Traktor certified mixer with a very good soundcard.
(Pio DJM900 Nexus for example) In that case IMO all you need is one or two Denon SC2000 without soundcards for example. It is IMO a bad way of spending money on a soundcard you do not need??http://www.dm-pro.eu/en/denondj/products/56/dn-sc2000-usb-midi-controller-with-2deck-support/

ParticipantFor that money I would not find any speakers that I could recommend and still be able to sleap at night…..

ParticipantI don’t know of any 3channel mixer that is Traktor certified so you will proberbly get a 4channel mixer.
Then I would recommend the Denon X1600 or X1700 wich IMO is the best value for money in mixers.
There is a lot of others but they eather has not the same quality IMO or has a higher prize but IMO not better quality
Pioneer 900 Nexus or 2000 for example…..Pär Hessler
ParticipantWell the NS6 is one of the best units you can get for ITCH. But for Traktor it is no good at all for that money, because of the layout taht is perfect for ITCH.
The S4 is a good choice but you should really take a close look at the Denon MC6000 also as IMO it offers more than S4.
Denon MC6000 has a couple of things that the S4 lacks.
You should also look at the S2 and compare it to the MC3000.

ParticipantTry swapping the speakers to see if the fault is in the speakers also swap the cables to be sure it is not any fault with them. If the problem follows the speakers and not the cables, claim warranty.
Otherwise you need to check your balance on your mixer and so on…..Pär Hessler

An example is much of the last Prodigy album was penned by Liam using Reason.
That is all correct!

vms4.1 is made of metal giving the impression that the durability is higher than N4
The question remains, my friends what I buy?
help me please!!!Then you should look at Denon MC6000/3000 they are buit to last!

ParticipantDima, post: 15208, member: 1509 wrote: Thank you, DJ Hessler. I have another question for you:
Based on what you said, I need to make sure that the signal that leaves my mixer should be a little bit below the 0db (last green light) so in case I use FX or my EQ I would not distort the sound. What about the meter in the Traktor software? If a song “touches” the red markers in Traktor, does it means that the song comes out distorted even before I had the chance to adjust anything on my mixer? And, since I am connecting my system to a house mixer, my level meter should match the other’s mixer levels? Or should I be concentrated only on the house mixers’s volume level since it sends the signal to the PA?
Thank you for your helpWell I will try to answer your qs:
If you reaches the red light in Traktor you might get a distorted sound out to the PA mixer.
You need to always keep under 0db all the way in the music chain.
If you go over 0db anywhere you might get distortion….. -
