Check to see if you have compatibility mode on/off on google chrome or try another browser if you have one.

Time for me to start investing in belt drive turntables, plus I was thinking about getting a direct drive or a cdj. But with the luck I’m having with Heineken Cdjs are out the answer and direct drives from what I heard send noise to the platter and I don’t want that. That wouldn’t be a bad Forum Beltdrive vs. Directdrive.

Someone drinking + bottle in hand + dj set = certainly not a great idea.
I need to check the: talk to the manager !, hope it works for beggars.

She wasn’t drunk she was perfectly fine, she just started to drink it and put in right on my table right next to my Numark N4 and right under my laptop which was on a Stanton stand North of the Ipad. 😡 I couldn’t believe she did that it’s common sense though, people should be fairly afraid of things with a lot of button and lights that cost over 2000USD.

I’ve been working out and bulking up so I won’t have to hire one but I’ve been finding it a bit difficult to scratch which is the downside.

lol just got to one of those electronics stores and get one, you know the ones that says “50% of everything” or “closing out sale” on the window ever though they’ll be their next year and the year after. Though its not recommended that you use another power supply that isn’t from Numark from what I was told. But it basically the same thing, my Numark N4 was acting up and I sent it to one of Numark’s repair stations, they sent it back to me but forgot to send the power supply so I just went around the corner and brought one. You can see in the pic the small one is the numark one and the big one is the one I brought. Just make sure that it meets the specs.

Thanks so much, I understand everything you’re saying. The computer industry should know a lot of djs rely on computers/tablets for controllers/digital djing though that could change in 20 years years.

Just to let you know you can speed up your pc with an SD card(readyboost compatible). Windows has a feature called readyboost(maybe called something else in windows 8), the way it works is by loading the cache on the SD card rather than the HDD(Hard drive) with makes the work load on your machine more easier to process). So if you have 12 gb of ram and you add a 8 gb SD and add readyboost it would almost be like you have 20 gb of ram, crazy right….. I used to be a nerd then I became a dj.

Don’t use Windows 8 for anything related to djing, a lot of programs and developers are still using windows 7 hence and are still experimenting with windows 8. I think windows 8 came out to early and at the wrong time, hence as Chuck said wait until the 8.1 release. The 8.1 pack will be similar to that of windows 7’s platform, and I think they’ll add the start menu button back to the taskbar.

I have the Numark N4, it really nice, it uses traktor, vdj, serato and I think one more software but if you want to get more out of it you’ll need the full version of each software. It seems MC3000 is calling out to you so I think you should go for that. If the controller calling out to you I think you’ll be much happier with that then buying something else and then later regretting you didn’t by the Denon MC3000.

I definitely agree with Dj Boi Loko, went to try out Serato Video and for some weird reason it said my laptop is not compatible but I have all the required specs needed. So I went to the serato site and took the compatibility test for it, crazy thing about it is that the serato site thinks my Laptop is a Mac lol. I own a Sony Vaio though they use similar parts and stuff their is no way that something like that is supposed to happen.

In my opinion Mac or Sony, Sony and Mac uses some of the same parts so they are kind of similar. Asus isn’t bad though being that it’s more of a computer company built for gamer with nice processors, graphic cards and sound cards. Asus will definitely get the job done.
