Forgetting to bring up the volume fader or eqs, embarrassing when you cut to the next track with the crossfader and your volume fader is all the way down or your high, mids, and lows are on full kill. Only way out is hoping the next track is a really good one and has a good intro or speaking into the mic and telling the crowd “yall not ready for it yet! lol

Yeah it looks toughs, I got to experiment with this though. Seen this a while back and it seems like it’s still in a beta mode test.

I would say high end controller, most controllers come as stand alone mixers too. Plus if you go to a venue or club most likely they would have a mixer there for you to use.

The PFL is for listen to you music while the volume button is down on the mixer, assuming you are connected to two different channels or connected to an external mixer/controller. For instance some djs with dj with their volume faders down and bring them up when they are moving the crossfader, EDM, Trance etc. Since the volume fader is down pressing the PFL button will allow you to listen what is playing on deck 2 vice versa. Try I out, put you volume slider all the way down while playing a track and press the PFL.

I’ve used USB sticks, feel sorry for any dj that wants to burn their library to CDs in 2015 but that is what some djs have to do to get the job done. Plenty of djs did it back then and some still do it.

@ Dj Vintage, Haven’t had any problems with it on my side besides the “I didn’t hear it” or “I wasn’t here when you played it!” quotes.

If what everyone else says doesn’t work there may be a chance you have a grounding problem. If this is true then there are simple fixes for it.

If you have virtual dj you would just need the skin not the controller

The best sofware is virtual dj 7 or 8 with a numark dj2go skin or a mixtrack edge skin. There are other dj apps that are free to use such as “Zulu dj” and you could also by some on net such at djay 2 or something similar. There are apps that you can use as a dj turntable such as “tonetable” but it’s that app is for ipads I think so you should look into that.

correction to the fax machine, it would sound like a 56k modem trying to hook up to the Internet when you pick up the phone which would most likely be the high monotone sound. If this is it let me know.

Go to the school and have them give you a playlist. When ever I do a party for a school I give them blank sheets with lines on tt so they can write down there songs. Once I get the songs I sort out what I see the most and that gives me an idea what to play.
