I agree with the moderator, the extra 200 could be used for audio, laptop stand, headphones, serato dj software, virtual dj, tracktor, or business cards.

ParticipantGo to your Tracktor Icon and right click it. Go to the “Compatibility” tab and check “Disable visual themes” and “Disable desktop composition”. Every time you go into tracktor now the visual themes will be disabled in windows allowing you program more memory, it will revert back when you exit tracktor. Also the popping sound may come from a grounding problem. If you laptop charger is a 3 prong plug then you should get put a 2 prong adapter on it, to know if this is the problem unplug the charger from the laptop and see if it still pops. Another thing also it to turn off the wifi.

ParticipantMy DJ software is VDJ, and this is why: I’m a video dj, and you can’t go wrong with virtual dj, visualizations, recording and format I want to use it’s there.

Behringer has been promising their CMD line for some time and it’s due very soon if presales are accurate. But sadly even as a Numark fan the stuff they’re releasing to combat that is just not worth the time. They could take the technology of the four deck Mixtrack (RGB leds, full four deck control), add in some essential features (VU meters, gain control, more outputs and a shift button) and come out with a four deck Mixtrack that would actually be a step up from the original Mixtrack Pro. As after all, what is the point of making a successor if it doesn’t actually do anything to improve on the original?
But that is just my opinion.
I agree, a lot of these, so called djs(free jays) are using the equipment and are calling themselves djs when it takes more than that. Plus when they take this/their equipment to a gig they don’t know how to hook it up right thus making it hard for the dj playing after. I can’t recall how many djs out there don’t know how to hook something up and I have to fix their problems or mistakes and not get paid for it. Plus numark and several of these other companies should be focusing on supporting operating systems and drivers instead of making new controllers. I’ll like to see new updates, both firmware and software and support for drivers such as usb ports, vga, hdmi.

I agree, I’m just gonna wait to get the NS6 II.

ParticipantAnother note, I personally use the sync button to match bpms(not the songs or tracks on the grids while it’s playing) reason being their is always an annoying female with her stupid request thus making it easy for me to mix or blend.

Seriously there is no way this is from a mind of a business man or marketing, this is just bad publicity check the link, as I was saying Numark needs to slow down the might as well call this the dj2go II

I agree but they should at least wait a while before bringing similar products out as in my first comment coming out with the mixtrack pro II and then a quad II isn’t right it makes the costumer feel ripped off.

ParticipantPractice with out a BPM counter or wave form, use your ears to hear the mix while cueing. With experience you should become a natural.

ParticipantThis is basically more aimed at the djs who use controllers, but that is technology for you. As everyone says its a tool you have and option to use it if you want/ not to use it. Old school djs don’t like it and that is fine with me, so to the old school djs stop using the laptops and start carrying your vinyls, crates and cds packs cause I don’t like it when old school djs use a laptop… Point said.

ParticipantA cross over between the Numark NS6 and the Pioneer DDJ- SX would be cool… Or maybe just the NS6 II since Numark already has the NS7 II
Dj Emazing
ParticipantOh I see, that’s actually smart. But as us all being djs(or at least for me) we should all keep it safe.

ParticipantJust the blue t and r is fine you don’t need so many lines
