ParticipantIf this isn’t a gain/volume problem then turn your WiFi/Bluetooth off, make sure you don’t have anything but your related dj equipment plugged in, make sure you don’t have any disabled drivers.
Another thing you may have a grounding problem. Something may need to be grounded or not grounded.

ParticipantTry changing your latency settings

ParticipantGo to Config, click on audio, in the audio menu look to the right it will say timecode, click on timecode, you will get and extra option on your sound card options, set your timecode for the channels where your input is going to.
Next make sure you mixer’s sound card is input is set to give virtual dj a sound/signal, if you here loud sound like a 56K modem/high pitch sound means you’re very close.

ParticipantDo you have it mapped? as in do the buttons control the actions in your software, if not try this for mapping.

You’ll have to use that mapping and work from there if you don’t have it mapped. What was said about the product.
http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/197805/Hardware_Technical_Support/Denon_dn-x600_with_v8.htmlYou may want to watch this video, it’s for Vdj7 but you should be able to apply the same settings to vdj8.

ParticipantI need more in-depth details, are you talking about volume faders, or volume knobs. Some buttons my act independent from one another. Have you tried virtual dj 8 for using more decks? You can independently map your own buttons with virtual dj or download mappers.

ParticipantThe DDJ SB and serato intro is plug and play literally, turn on your serato dj intro first then plug in the DDJ SB, Serato Intro will look for the controller, recognize it and then show you two decks.
Note: Make sure nothing else is plugged into your computer for example a wireless mouse.
Plus what kind of computer are you using, specs and Operating system. Every one on the site needs to know this if they are going to help out.

ParticipantNo problem, but don’t just give up just yet. It’s not supported ask virtual dj in the support area of their website to see if they can start supporting it. Why support for it has stopped is out of the question, I’ve see virtual dj 8 run lots o soundcards making virtual vinyl shouldn’t be a problem.
Dj Emazing
ParticipantHere’s the problem the sound card isn’t supported yet. Sorry
Not sure if this applies to PC’s also.

ParticipantAnother thing have you downloaded read the quickguide? http://www.numark.com/product/virtualvinyl
I still would like to know you settings for you audio in virtual dj 8, does the sound card even show up at all?
Dj Emazing
ParticipantWhat are you setting your virtual dj settings too on the sound card options?
Dj Emazing
ParticipantYou shouldn’t need asio4all for the box it should just be plug and play but you may need a driver if your computer doesn’t recognize the box. Are you using windows 8 or 7?
http://www.numark.com/product/virtualvinyl this is for the drivers
Here is an article you might want to take a look at

ParticipantIf you have a smart phone download the cd timecode from virtual dj and plug that in via RCA plug in and see if that works.
This is trouble shooting it to see if it works at all.Dj Emazing
ParticipantI’m confused, are we talking about serato or vdj? both serato and vdj have autogain and you have to have your files analyzed on the software first. Even so you still have to do some tweeking with individual tracks. Many djs, including myself, convert their files and set there gain on the files so it can all be the same, though this method doesn’t work sometimes. I imaging that is was Platinum notes are for, there are other software products you can use.
Dj Emazing
Participanthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ale1R1E6CmQ you setup and settings should be similar to something like this.
Dj Emazing
ParticipantYou should be able to use virtual vinyl on vdj 8 with no problem.
