    People assume that all DJ’s use Turntables.
    Some people also only think we only listen to one genre and that we are acctualy (hopefull most of us) are open to tons of genres.

    I’m 15 aswell and can somewhat relate to what you wrote.
    Im turning 16 in 2 weeks (July 14) and I’m really trying hard to convince my parents to get me a Laptop for my birthday :S. I’m using 4 Year-old $8 speakers (lmfao I think I need new speakers, but I use great studio moniter headphones) with my $700 custom pc which I use to make my mixes with.

    [COLOR=#000000]Also, I would love to start getting into trance, could you reccomend me some decent artist or your favorite songs?[/COLOR]

    I Have 15 GB worth of music which is roughly about 1500 songs, I’d say since I do a whole bunch of different sub-genres of Electronica I’d use about 60% of those track are good for mixing.

    I also have some reggae, top 40’s and my own mixes in their aswell :S

    I suggest you spring for the Numark Mixtrack Pro.
    Based on everything I’ve read for the past few months it’s the #1 most popular choice for new DJ’s and works great for even intermmidate DJ’s!

    My mom is from Viseyas so when we visit we stay there and sometimes stay at my uncle’s in Tuburan.
    We also go downtown Cebu for long periods of time staying a hotels and stuff 🙂
