This is an awesome idea. Especially since I’ll be in a college hot spot! Have you had to deal with any problems or assholes?

Has anyone ever DJed a wedding successfully and played some House music that samples those classics you usually would hear? Not that I’d be mixing the whole time obviously, but has anyone ever had a wedding audience that enjoyed it?

Right and thats why I deff need to get to an understanding with the clients quickly. I am a mobile Dj to the degree that I can easily work in clubs/venues/lounges/small events and sometimes sporting stuff but Weddings seem much more flashy and not in the raving sense lol.

Thank you for all the responses ! I just want to build my wedding friendly music collection ASAP. I feel like there isn’t much technicality involved with the wedding and I’ll be more focused on presence and the atmosphere rather than music which will hopefully be planned prior to the event. As far as activities, I’ll let you all know what there might be after I speak more with the planners. In terms of payment? Who would charge hourly ?

Maybe it was the usb cord. I have a Mixtrack Pro as well so I’ll try using that cord instead next time to see the results. The crossfader just has a mind of its own, and it doesn’t really fade other then cutting out one channel when it is completely to the other side. Being in the middle is no different then being a small bit from the left or right side if you understand what I mean. I have a Toshiba Satellite with Windows and I ordered this computer maxed out for performance so I can’t imagine it being the issue with ITCH. Everytime i exit ITCH program it says “This program has ended unexpectadly” or something along those lines. I’m not sure what its issue is… One last question! How can I get a Mic to come through the speakers? I tried the inputs on the back to no avail.

Hey i was wondering if you had some advice on a Trap/HipHop Demo. I have recorded one yet, but this new club wondered if I could let him hear a demo. Do you feel that I should drop in track after track to give them variety or milk some good tracks and hope they give it a good listen for more technicality and taste.

my crossfader is acting up and when i am trying to use it to fade between deck A and B it continues to play both channels. The only thing i have tried is the switches on the front from L and R but it just restarts the song when i move the crossfader. Any ideas ?

It’s decided ! Fellow Members of DigitalDjTips… We must congregate to a selected location, and build the greatest EDM Festival of our Musical Era. We shall have bottle services delivered with complimentary Ipods playing “Levels” on Loop! And We shall have DJ’s spinning any and every track of their choice with no Promoters within 100 miles.
