So I would advise: Go for the 380 and let it sit a while. Learn all the kinks of the 380 (it already has pads that can do A LOT with sample triggers…) and you already have samplers etc. in Itch.

When you still feel the need to expand beyond the 380, then buy at the time “when you REALLY need it” it will be some time until then and possibly we will be seeing some new launchpads, etc. at the time that are cheaper or have more features or whatever…

Ur advice seems quite useful 2 me.I think i will go 4 380,n after knowing it in n out,I will think about launch pads etc…
Thx 4 ur advice.Ur replies boosts my confidence.

I buy multiple sets cause they are so cheap and it’s always good to have a back up set. sound quality is adequate and they only cost 15-20 bucks! you are a beginner dj and I use these week after week for weddings and private events with no problems whatsoever.

But at this point in my line of work, I am sticking with my Numark NS6 and my Vestax VCI-300. there is not that much more of bells and whistles for me to upgrade yet.

so you mean vci 380 is better than ns6 ?

i have researched a lot on the internet and have come through good reviews for sennheisers. so you can go for it.

let me give you detailed info to make my point clear, we like to use a lot of effects and samplers (we would like a controller to trigger them and do tweaks with them at the same time) and as yet we dont to manual beat matching as we have begin our career with digital djing and we are still at the beginner level so that is not a issue right now. and also please explain me if itch is really different than other softwares (just some key points). we were vdj djs have never used itch. we are more interested in itch because every other dj we see is using itch. to understand and to discuss with our local djs we prefer to have itch.

I have gone through few headphones this year and the once I have now are starting to break all were cheep so my next purcase will be pro dj headphones. Cheep headphones are fine for listening to music you put them on and listen for some time. When you DJ you put them on and take them of 100+ times a set.

so true!! same happened to me. i had bought 60$ headphones and within 2-3 months of hardly using them every week, a piece broke and then some time later i noticed some clicking sound on higher volumes. i will be going for ath m50 or ath pro 700 mk2 soon!!!!!!!

Skullcandy Lowrider SC S5LWCZ Over The Ear Headphone to buy. Im confused between these two, if any one of you can suggest me a good one comparitively close to the cost of both of these, and if i can use any one of these which will be good for me.

can you say what other brands are available?

Terry_42, post: 23031, member: 1843 wrote: 1. it feels sturdy. I had it only for 2 days to play around, but it feels great. You can replace the crossfader should it give…
    2. I think it is save to buy, IF you can live with its limitations and features… (but you prolly researched those before choosing)
    3. depends on if you want to use Itch, then the VCI-380 is prolly the backpack thing to get.
    4. No idea

@2. as its new i didnt get much info about the controller. can you please mention the main ones?
