is it possible that they might be fixing some hardware problems?

u can ask the same speakers seller to supply that cable or ask him to advice you a seller…about the speakers, from what i have learnt, you must always hear speakers and then decide for yourself especially when you are going for budget speakers. also have concluded that with speakers u should wait and save to get a good brand like jbl instead of going cheap and compromising the sound quality.

With DJ products that are this new you won’t be able to find any deals that are more than a few bucks discounted.
Hey steelo i ve been watching it on these webistes since more than a month. They are always available and on ebay atleast 3-5 listings. How come on both the sites its unavailable at the same time? i just wanted to know if by any chance the company have call back all the controllers to fix some issue??

Participantxlr cables are the cables to connect balanced audio. and these cant be connected to mixtrack pro as there are only rca(unbalanced) connections available on mixtrack pro. All u have to do is to get xlr to rca cable or adapters.

Participantvdj can be mapped with almost all midi controllers.

What is bar? and how to count 4 beats (if it is 4/4) in a bar?
I know how to do, but i can’t never be able to explaineach group of beats is called a bar (also known as measure). in your case 4 beats is a bar.
x/y means there are x beats in a measure and 1/y th note gets a beat which in this case is there are 4 beats in a measure and 1/4 (quarter note) gets a beat.
hope you get that.

let me give u a short story of mine. we got a gig to play in a club for the first time. we made few mistakes, we went a lil later and then we realized that there was a sound problem in the speakers. we were getting nervous as the club owner was fixing his mixer with his amps. there was some volume problem with his system. after the crowd waited for a while, the system was fixed. then you know what?? we were hearing the same sound from the speakers and headphones on our mixtrack pro with pc. we played several times in smaller events and nothing went wrong so we had no pc backup or controller backup. assuming everything will go well we followed the trail. now no matter what we did with vdj pro in config nothing worked.
so there was no use of headphones, we had to fake that the headphones are on but we disconnect them from the controller. it was our first time, i was completely scared when it happened. we had 75% songs cued. thanks to my partner and vdj effects that we really managed everything well. that means the whole night went without headphones at all. i knew the music thoroughly so i knew when to change to what and my partner was very smart to do it. everyone enjoyed the night and appreciated apart from the fact there was no music in the first hour. whenever i think of this i still get scared.
you know what was the problem, vdj pro had got corrupted (it was pirated version tho). when we tried the le installed on the same pc, everything worked flawlessly.
also recently i saw a dj who ‘threw’ his headphones in front of the audience and rocked the whole crowd without any. so i learnt that a dj should know his music in and out and also expect the worst circumstances and be prepared with all the backups.
but that experience + tips from the members here have made me more stronger to face this kind of situation.

as terry replied earlier, you can use anything as long as its serving the purpose. with all the studies on the internet so far i have found that djing is not about getting expensive gadgets but its just the art of keeping the crowd on the floor.

I always try to pass on something I learned from my mistakes… when I started DJing (it was still turntables) I tried too much to fast and I wasted almost a year until I met a mentor who would tell me how to slowly progress into the turntables and what to do with them….
To get good at DJing you need to have the basics down really really solid and it will improve your career immensely.this is what i wanted to ask. right now we have no source of income through djing. we had a mixtrack pro earlier, and we did more than expected. we played for our community where they liked what we played but they didnt pay us or didnt bother to give help to get better and also it was our entry in djing and we did amateur stuff but it went well. so we are trying to go pro with our own money. so i have to be very careful while spending my hard earned saved money. i am damn sure that we will be able to make an income. but am always scared about the other side.
thats why i really needed genuine advice. actually i didnt thought of asking these kind of questions when i joined this forum. but your and member’s quick and precise replies lead me to the initiation.
keep it up terry!!!!
