ParticipantWell, had a good session with the new Mac last night and can gladly report absolutely no issues at all.
It was great, no audio blips. And the TM2 just feels smoother and more responsive 🙂
That could be the combination of Serato 1.6 and the new Mac, but it definitely felt gooooooooooodDJ 2-Easy
ParticipantCheers Terry. My G5 tower decided to say “no more” a month ago, so I decided to replace it with another laptop instead. And donated my old MacBook 17 as the new family computer for homework, web browsing etc. Plus Apple are doing 0% finance at the moment………it was rude not to hahaaaa
At least i wont have to worry about that little audio blip I was experiencing with my old MacBook now.

ParticipantI scratch on my Terminal Mix 2/Serato and it is an absolute pleasure, the jogs are just superbly weighted and a really good size.

Participant2-Easy/2eazy/2eze is a name that i have used since 1985 when i started writing graffiti. Unfortunately there is already somebody using that DJ name (i have recently discovered). But seeing as i have photographic proof from back then that i used that name, i’m sticking with it and claiming OG status on that one Hahaaaa.
It seems ALL the decent names or anything clever that i have thought of is already used 🙁

ParticipantThe Reloop jogs are the boss for scratching…..(assuming they are the same as the Terminal Mix 2 jogs)
Very smooth motion and solid feel 🙂DJ 2-Easy
ParticipantHi Matthew, and welcome.
I use a Terminal mix 2/Serato for scratching and the jogs are superb in size and smoothness of action.
And as Terry said, Serato is really tight. If it’s good enough for Qbert its good enough for all of us 😉

ParticipantBut I don’t think I have ever touched the crossfader curve in the settings……but don’t quote me on that.
I don’t have my Macbook with me or I would have a look in Serato now 🙁

ParticipantNo it was broken, it was crackling when I wiggled it haha.

ParticipantI thought that if i changed it on the controller that it automatically changed it in Serato (via midi signal) No? Please bare with me here Terry………noob alert hahaha
DJ 2-Easy
ParticipantNo I didn’t Terry, I Was unaware of that.
