Maschine is pretty awesome and has become my sketch pad since I got it (Mikro 1). The stocks are very good, but as others have said to find your center you need to tweak em. I like to go for melodies first because for me it takes the longest. I’ve found that 4-6 tracks of orchestration that I’m really vibing with gets me really hype once I add drums in the end! But the same isn’t true if I start with drums. I end up scrapping loads of stuff because it just doesn’t enhance what I have already. Just remember to enhance what you do track by track and scrap it the moment it looses shine.

    trap music in a nutshell

    Too funny…!

Dubstep was my first choice in DJing because of its energy and I’ve been mixing it the longest of anything. My biggest tip for you or anyone else needing help is to match the snares…! They are the consistent feature in most songs. EQ your bass on the incoming track so it’s not present then on beat (8 count) swap basses and on beat again do what’s best for the mix to remove the outgoing track. Practice a few times and you’ll hear it’s the technique you hear in some of your favorite mixes by the big boys. To here it in action check out “Devil’s Den 4” on my site.

discipleofnietzsche@gmail.com . Email me March 30th so I remember and I’ll make sure you get a slot for the April show. We’re pretty heavy on dub/electro; tech house would be sick. Trap music….*shudder*….. to each their own =D.

That would be totally awesome…! Thank you for the opportunity! Tech it is…! Lmao…no love for the Trap eh? I got hooked when I saw Crizzly last summer and Reid Speed banged up Soundstage in Baltimore before Skream shut it down…! It’s like my bridge between Hip Hop, which I’m often forced to play locally, and Dubstep. But again thanks and I’ll stay in touch.

This is absolutely awesome…! I’d love to be able to do this in my hometown (about 1hr. south of you) but more importantly I’d love to be a participant in this or any upcoming show you do. I do some flyer designing as well so that might help you as well. If at all possible I’d like to start on whatever path you deem to end up being a consideration. Everything I do could be heard on my site below. I spin mostly Dubstep & Trap but also love Electro & Tech House. In the end, I would like info on any shows you guys put on because I’d like to support & meet you all…! Thanks!!!
