    Used Gator, Phaser, flanger, and Z filter in this mix.

    As u can tell I’ve been busy learning about the fx in traktor. I find I like the “gator” alot for my style of play. When I overlayed “hell yeah” I had the gator on the whole time. Happened to work great with that song and that mix. Gotten comfortable using 6 fx so far….bout time to familiarize myself w/ 6 more. Traktor is well endowed with ALOT of sick fx…..really excited to try using the new macro fx.

    Still haven’t had a chance to listen to it all yet….but the truth is man (and this is the killer part)…..if you love listening to your own stuff that’s enough….nothing else matters…..anybody that says otherwise is just hatin. Ive just started checking out everything on the forums. For the mixes on here….just hearing how other ppl do things helps me get new ideas or learn new ways of doing things. Honestly bro nothing else matters. Love your music….love what you do with your music. Trust me if you like it everyone will…..I know I’m my own worst critic. : )

    I forgot to put “mini” in front of the “set” part…..just made a quick mix 1 day before i had to walk out the door using some new tracks i’d bought.

    ….and you don’t need to post your playlists if you don’t want to…….everyone has “Shazaam” or some app that’ll give track names. I’m not gonna hate for someone sayin thats why nobody’s chimed in….but believe me you don’t need to post your playlists. Trust me : )

    If I’m right…this has opened up a whole new level of creativity and ways to try mixing, or simply get from 1 tune to another, that I didn’t have before. I was never a slave to harmonic mixing….but I love doing it whenever possible. This will make it happen for me alot more often than before.

    Yeah I had some issues with the notation to. But reviews off DJTT have shown its on par with Mixed in Key’s detection method….showing equal success rates. The plus side to this notation, and I’m loving this by the way, is that I can now keylock my tunes and use the “key” adjust MUCH more accurately. It was virtually useless before bc I relied on the Camalot method. The +/- 1.00 – 12.00 key adjust measurements weren’t tranferable to Camalot notation (at least not for me….couldn’t get my head round it)….but with Traktors new key analysis it’s as simple as adding and subtracting. I may be wrong….but I immediatly tried it on afew tunes and it worked by my ears. Like I said it may’ve been sheer luck….but my outlook is positive so far. : )
