Compared to most of North America, I would say Toronto has a pretty good scene for underground music. There’s some great stuff going on down on Cherry Beach on Sunday/Mondays and the Electric Island events that have been running on the Holidays through the summer. Also, at Labour of Love last year I was most impressed by the local guys they had playing in SkyBar, who I believe are also down at Comfort Zone quite a bit.
