MemberTerry I am also a ham user and like talking to people so may one day catch you on the radio. i am a M6 and I will go up when I am ready for it. Anyone yes knowing about cables and the right types is what it is about, as if you put a audio cable that is not the right type into a system then that can make other noise come out of the speakers.
Anyway thanks for the information and the help and I will put any question I need on here as it will help other new DJs out that would like to get into it.

MemberHi Terry
Thanks for letting me know about using a balanced cable and I like to learn more about the cables in DJ work, could you if you can tell me please what is a balanced cable is. I am asking this information as all I know is if I put a audio cable into a speaker and say a controller it will take the sound and move it to the speaker where of course the sound comes out. This is all new to me and I like to go round maybe some web sites that could help me understand all the different cable types and if I need to I can buy cable to fit the RCA controller. If you Terry or anyone can put me on the right road to understanding cables then I can walk into shops knowing I learned what cable is what.

MemberThanks for that and I did find they do not have RCA plugs so will need to get a wire with RCAs on both ends then a plug to fit into that speaker.
Any ideas anyone please do send them in.

MemberI have only just started and I like to DJ to be able to allow lots of people to enjoy music I like and music I do not like as that is what I feel it is about. Playing songs for others at a wedding, party, night club and at schools and colleges.
