    Thanks DJ Vintage. Think our needs are a bit different, but interested in what pad controllers can work with Serato? Did you mean adding something like the Akai? Can it switch between 4 decks?

    Santa Creek many thanks man! I’m leaning towards TM8 right now as its a lot cheaper and I can maybe spend the extra on add on controllers. I also have a Maschine so interested to know if you’ve managed to get them working together, but NI pissed me off on upgrades already, as is well known for them, and I was thinkinig of going Ableton+push anyways as I’m not overly happy with Maschine. I’m in no rush to move to traktor

    DJ vintage I like the Denon kit but I want more pads than mc6000. I think! Would you trade pads for flip?

    Novation Twitch with full Serato DJ has served me well. They messed up the mapping, but partnered with Serato remote for ipad it’s great value. If you have an iPad then I’d certainly look at getting a Twitch on eBay. Much more functionality than the entry level controllers. I just wish they hadn’t messed up the mapping.

    DJ Vintage why the SX2 over the terminal mix 8? I don’t need a standalone mixer, and is flip really that revolutionary? Worth almost twice the money?

    Many thanks Santa Creek, exactly kind of input I was hoping for. SX2 is looking nice. I don’t need standalone mixer but flip sounds interesting. Twice the price tho.

    Anyone compared this to a modular setup, eg akais?
