monthly contests with the top 5 each month getting to compete in a best of the year event making a mix for live streaming on New Years (5 winners each month x 7 months = 35 competitiors for the best of the year then take the top 3 and have them each make a hour mix to be played on new years eve with the winner getting the midnight set play) .

one big one
4) What criteria do you think a mix should be judged on?
transitions, originality, flow, sets must be 30 minutes or less
5) What kind of reward do you think is suitable for the winner?
A full 2 page write up on the monthly winner with pictures and links to their website with the rest of the monthly top 5 get honerable mentions and a smaller write up (1 or 2 paragraphs). most of us would love that kind of exposure to post on our websites and put on our resumes. the year end winner would get a once a month colum on the site for the next 12 months to talk about whatever they want that pertains to the industry.
