Thank you Black Rag, for the words of encouragement.
I think every experience is a good one even if things are not going as planned.
I just called my boss to tell hem I will do it.
He told me that the idea behind it was to give the guests a little show.
I asked what kind of music to play and he said that it would just be music that fits with the movie.

    So thanks again.
if anyone else has some other tips I would be glad to hear them!

    Hello all,

I have a question regarding my job at the cinema and djing.

I have bought myself a Numark Mixtrack Pro DJ Controller last weekend.
I have been busy training on beatmatching and mixing some random songs into each other.

Yesterday i got an email from my boss that they needed a DJ for a special evening with a special movie (the dutch folks here may know it ‘verlieft op ibiza’).
As I said before i just got a controller with headphones and I training little but often (as phil said in his training videos).

That brings me to my question.
What must u say to my boss ?
I would really like doing it, but the chances of making a mess are big.

And if you guys say just do it.
What kind if tips and tricks could you give me?

    I hope can help me.
