    Yeah, the software for automating the beat fixing all choked on it, that’s why I had to fix it by hand… the problem is, the song is so dense that the FFT used for those calculations can’t sense where the actual beat is at all times.

    Since moving to the Netherlands, I am all about public transit, the system here is freaking AMAZING, especially compared to Alaska.

    By the way, I hope my intro didn’t sound pretentious or anything, in particular, I do not mean to imply that I think DJing is somehow lesser or not making music – it totally is. I am always amazed by what a good DJ can do with their instruments, that’s why I want to learn how to do it too.

    heh. Thanks. It’s been my identity (the short form of my full name, Deathangel’s Shadow) for 25 years.

    Right now, it’s more about giving me something to do. I may stay a bedroom DJ forever, I don’t know, but it’s something that I’ve always enjoyed seeing others do, and I want to know more about it myself.

    I will probably continue to produce as well, although I don’t really have the gear for it any more, at least for now. I just love music, making it, listening to it, everything. DJing seems like a good and fun combination to me.

    Oh… you can hear a few of my tracks on my Soundcloud page… the chiptune was a C64 cover, but the other tunes there were all made using my synth stack.

    Yeah, filters aren’t always the best solution. I used to admin a forum for tabletop gamers in Alaska. We were able to integrate with automatically, which helped us a WHOLE lot, dunno if that’s an option for you guys or not.
