These computers have very cheap processors unfortunately which will cause problems when you try and run a DAW or Traktor or something, especially with a controller plugged in. I think that you want at least an intel i5 to do what you want to do, I would recommend a macbook, but you are on a budget so at least see if you can find something with an i5 or higher.

Unfortunately the Chromebook can only run Google Play Applications through Google Chrome, I doubt that any really quality DJing or Production software exists in the form of an Android or Google Play application.

I know exactly how you feel man, and I have yet to DJ at a school event but I feel like tracks like Zedd’s Stache or Wolfgang Gartner’s Menage A Trois could go over well because they are such massive bangers. But to be safe I would mostly stick to the remix/top 40 approach.

I run Mountain Lion on my macbook pro and in the interest of saving words, it does exactly what you want it to exactly when you want it too. This girl feels good with the lights off and looks good with the lights on. And it will run Traktor or VDJ or Whatever with no problems.

Just drop some Drum n’ Bass and everything will be fine. Merry Christmas!

Haha Jk, but not too many Christmas songs, and the billboard charts from now and the past should be enough. Thats what I always hear at these type of things.

I see two threads here on the forums about people reporting issues with twitch controllers that they recently bought, you might want to talk to them about it. One guy is Daryl Northrop I don’t remember the other ones name.

I am 16 and 6’6″ tall. I have been to the doctors, they told me to plank (not the joker kind of planking but actual plank like on a mat :)). I have been doing that and it helps but when this hurts it HURTS. Thanks everybody for the advice.

Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, PS1,PC. L.A Noire, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin’s Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 are in my opinion some of the greatest games of all time.

I have been involved in electronic dance music ( I hate saying that but you know what I mean) for a little over a year now, I used to be a rap guy but what drew me to edm was the huge amount of variety that exists in addition to the huge amount of quality music in the genre. It would be very hard to limit myself to only certain scenes within the genre because I just wanna hear what sounds good, and one thing that I instinctively know is that if you are playing a bunch of great music, people are going to have fun and the people who will complain that you are hopping subgenres too much are not there to have fun, and therefore you need not worry about them.
