Your specs are well within the requirements for DJ software.

Now know that proper drivers and settings are just as important for fluid, stable performance

I have used my Vestax VCI 380 and MAC computer for 3 years now with no problems.

My opinion is controllers are as reliable as the software and computer running them. I only use my DJ computer for music management and performing.

Ask yourself….How are you different/Better than the millions of other djs that want the same thing as you.

    Find Your sound/style……be different.

Really focus on your producing…tell a story through your music. Study song structure-this is where many mess up.

And always….love what you are doing or what’s the point…..right?

I second Dj Vintages view point.

Be honest and let management know that your best performance will come from you using your gear.

If it’s still a no-go, be honest with yourself and decide if you can give a good show with the house gear……if not, best to pass for the time being until you are ready.

If you know you want to use Tractor for your software you should only get a NI Tractor controller.

Nothing else will be as tightly mapped.

Wow, House vinyl from the early 90’s……..my favorite. Started my clubbing days back then. Hopefully they were stored properly.

If you feel up to it, record a mix or two and post on Mixcloud……would love to hear.

It is a great class for complete beginners to intermediate djs. If you are serious about learning this skill you had better jump in fast. The class will be full any minute now and won’t reopen till next summer!

I enrolled last year and still go to it for learning. It is a STEAL at this price! You will not regret the purchase. Plus a money back guarantee……

Must analyze music in Rekordbox first for the Aero to work properly

My upgrade path suggestion would be Serato DJ and a Reloop NEON.

We all have to learn somehow, someway.

I applaud you for keeping your cool and helping them sort it out.

Hopefully one day they will come across Digital DJ Tips!

I don’t use any that are special.
What I do use though are heavy gauge cords that can handle the amp load and are grounded.
I also don’t plug all amps, speakers, controller, ect. into the same electrical circuit.

The DJM750 does not work with Tractor DJ like the DJM900T does. The 750 is a straight analog mixer where the 900 is analog/digital with USB ports.
