Participanthave you got your output routings the wrong way round? i.e. channels for monitor set as master and vice versa?

ParticipantIf you are just starting out why not buy something that works instead of taking on mapping before you can even mix. Find a controller that works with the software, try it out then try some others to make sure.

Participantits here, very impressed.

Participantdidnt think it was worth the money for the aluminium… Im too tight for that 😀

Participantyeah they are all over the place with traktor, did try with dj intro and they were excellent.

ParticipantI have seen that and the videos that are doing the rounds. I want metal casing for that money…

Participantanother (former) tm4 owner. nice bit of kit, no problems with reliability. I only sold mine to get a traktor controller as the traktor mapping wasnt amazing. replaced with another reloop unit though as I really liked the TM4

ParticipantThe adams mentioned above are good monitors as are sonodynes. the university I go to use M-audio axiom 49’s which work well and have semi-weighted keys but I`m looking at the axiom pro 61 for home as it offers more controls.

Participantyoutube the Art(ist) mapping for traktor also that looks fairly good.

ParticipantNot enough changed to justify consideration for me. £659 in the UK I think, too much money for something that lacks their latest innovations and is still made out of plastic.

And yes this is still the fact.No the Terminal Mix 4 is not really working well with Traktor. Lots of compromises you have to do. I hugely prefer Serato though so no problem for me 😉
You can always go to reloop.com send them an Email and ask to quote you a dealer that will have the Jockey.I agree with Terry on this, bought a TM4 to use with traktor, the loop and fx controls were very nice but a lot of the other stuff wasn’t very tight. Sold it and just waiting on a jockey 3 remix to arrive which I think will work better for me and bar the jogs( which I believe are not as tight as NI’s own gear to the software) the integration seems to be spot on. Also the bits I really liked on the tm4 will be present on the J3R… solid build too,

Participant+1 for HD25s. bought a set in January amazing sound quality if fecking load compared to my old ones (must turn down before pressing play). My friend has the monster beats pro thingamajiggers and they sound ok but I dont think for a minute they are worth the pro title or £400+ they cost. AKG and Sennheiser both make pro studio/monitoring headphones for half the price.

ParticipantCheers guys, Im up and running now, thanks for the help!

Participantupdate: had a play with it, controls now work. i have no audio settings, does anyone have a mapping with the audio setup included?
