    2 decks will be enough. I’m kinda an old school DJ so i’ll just be beat matching and scratching. all this midi mapping etc scares me. I think i can just about handle some effects buttons and sample loops.

    It looks like a nice controller but I’ve looked at software and I prefer Serato over Traktor to be honest.

    Michael & Steelo, Thanks for your replies and advice.

    I don’t think I want to be using my decks again. If I did I think I”d go down the Serato Scratch Live route, ditch digital controllers altogether and stick with vinyl. Also space is an issue so I don’t want the SL’s permanently setup.

    which are perceived to be the best Serato controllers? I wouldn’t want to spend more than £400 really.
