ParticipantI literally just sold my 4-Mx a couple of days ago and after having it for over an year, and having played with mixtrak, DJ2 and some Gemini for a while i can honestly say this thing was super. I especially liked the feel of the jogs. Once you unlock them they sort of “sink” a little when you touch them – which i’m yet to find on any other controller. The other thing is them buttons – they are really heavy duty and take considerable pressure to click, except the transport buttons (CUE, PLAY, etc), which are nice size and quite sensitive.

ParticipantI completely agree with Terry. And while i have not had the chance to play around with Twitch, i have TM4, which apart from the 2 extra channel faders and knobs,is pretty much the same as TM2 and i can honestly say there are very few controllers i would be willing to trade it for at this point.

ParticipantTM2 is far superior to mixtrack mate. Good choice and congrats.
Now let’s hope Serato wakes up and actually releases a full version to support the controller.

ParticipantIf it is USD 500 you meant then i would suggest Terminal Mix 2. You get Serato, VDJ and Traktor mappings and i have to say, from having the TM4 for few days, it is mapped pretty well.
You could also look into Reloop Digital Jockey 3 and Vestax VCI 400, although the latter one will have to be second hand. Juno UK sells Jockey 3 for £350 now, which imo is a cracker of a deal, and is made for traktor.
My personal favorite still would be TM2 tho but i might be bias.BoomBox
Participantcheck out the reloop beatmix. Looks really good.

ParticipantBut thats like $300 more than he wanted to spend…

i looking for some controller whith 4 channels and things useful for fx and this stuff
i just have 800 dollars aprox,I think for $800 and 4 channels you can get:
1 Terminal Mix 4
2 NS6
3 4Track
4 VCI 400
All of these have excellent reviews and will likely be a good place to start looking.
It will come down to your personal choice of software etc. NS for example is mapped to serato where 4Track for TraktorBoomBox
ParticipantVCI100 is not a bad choice, although i feel it is getting a bit old now. If you can add a bit more go for Jockey 3 or Hercules 4-Mx. Both work well with VDJ and Traktor.
I have upgraded from my 4-Mx only recently so if you are on the market for one shoot me a pm as i see you are in UK.BoomBox
Participantas already pointed out mixtrack pro is always a good choice. Also i would look into Hercules 4-Mx. Somewhat overlooked it seems but i have had one for about an year and this thing has been nothing short of rock solid.

ParticipantAllright, thanks guys! I appreciate it. I was kind of going the TM2 route in my mind but kind of needed that last push i suppose. I’ll go ahead and get the TM2 an d will wait for Serato to release an upgrade option before i gp ahead and make the switch from VDJ.
Thanks again.BoomBox
ParticipantHaha , nice to hear you had good time in Bulgaria. Lots has changed since the time you were in i’d imagine but the yoghurt is still the same.
