ParticipantI would just delete the mapping and re-import again. You might just have had a corrupt file of something. If this does not work, try re-downloading the file but delete the old one beforehand. Then do the delete/reimport part again and see if that fixes the issues

ParticipantJust use Traktor instead.
BoomBox
ParticipantIn Traktor, did you adjust the headphone output correctly? Preferences–> Output Routing–> Output monitor — sellect out 3 and out 4
BoomBox
ParticipantAhh i see what you are saying. No need to get the mapping but thank you anyway. I can play around and map the knobs myself i think.
BoomBox
Participant^^^ Not to hijack the thread but would you mind sharing the traktor mapping?
cheers. As far a jog wheels go – adjust their sensitivity to about 26-29% and you will get a lot better feel.BoomBox
Participantgirls = pretty lights (pink preferable)
boys = gadgets (i.e. motorized platters)Since you specifically said girls than i will agree with Terry. The new XDJ looks pretty knicker dropping too.

ParticipantTo answer my own question – yes it does fit. You have to trim the sides a bit as the foam is too thick but apart from that it is perfect!

Participant30-08 according to woodbrass.com but who knows….

ParticipantIf i had to pick a Reloop controller for under $350 i’d probably go with the Mixage. However there are other brands that offer competitive controllers and i would seriously look at the Hercules – either the 4-Mx or wait for a bit and have a look at the RMX2 when it comes out. If you do not mind second hand you can even look at some used Vestax VCI300 with the Fx add on, or jst get the VCI 100.

ParticipantLet me just make sure i understood correctly:
1. You are from Vietnam but want to put on the business card you are from UK.
2. You have a friend, who works in PR to help you out but she but knows nothing about music.
3. You have never played a gig but want to put you DJ’d @ MoS on your card?Oh, and you are not sure about your name….
If i had to suggest one thing it would probably be for you to rethink your whole plan once more but i’m not sure.
I think this thread has potential, can’t believe i’m the first one posting.

So basically I am currently using the standards VDJ mapping for my TM4, but I have remapped the hotcues to function like in Serato.Terry,
Do you have issues with the scissor button? When i click on it, it works but the samples and cues do not change to the second layer on the screen. they work fine on the controller tho…. However if i press the scissor button in the software they change onscreen… Just wonderingAugust 5, 2012 at 3:14 am in reply to: USB 3.0 computer + USB 2.0 equipment = blue screening 64-bit Win 7 #1009230BoomBox
ParticipantI recall someone mentioning having problems with their DJ controller while hooked to USB3 and their only solution was afaicr to switch back to USB2. That said i have been running TM4 on USB3 for nearly 2 weeks now and never had a single issue.

ParticipantA&H is discontinued afaik so i would stay away. The VCI 400 gets really good reviews especially the EGE edition, which just tops your budget (without shipping and taxes). However if you are not bothered about Serato i personally would go for Reloop’s TM4 (it has good mappings with Traktor and VDJ) or Numark NS6/4TRACK. The former is about £440 (but can be had a bit cheaper, or at least i did) UK and the latter two are bout £650-700 but you could pick up second hand one for less your budget.
The Numarks have been on the market longer than Reloop (at least the NS6 has) and have proven reliable, but owning a TM4 i can say it looks and feels rock solid. Also the Numarks can be used as standalone mixers, while the Reloop only has an emergency AUX in, providing you are running it on ext. power.
For me having one only external input has never been an issue as i really do not see myself having 4 channels AND hooking up another 2 devices in…Having said that a third choice could also be Reloop’s Digital Jockey 3, which seems to have dropped price somewhat lately and can be currently had from Juno for £350. This is mapped to Traktor and generally people have good things to say about it but i have never had it myself, so i cannot comment.
Still at this point price/performance wise i would go for Reloop TM4. You might need to reduce the sensitivity of the jogs a little to about 26%-29% to get more of an authentic vinyl feel, but aside from that mapping is pretty descent.
