ParticipantI changed some settings and its fine now. Guess i panicked when it froze because i had a job today. Thanks for replying.

ParticipantThat may be the case. I’ll watch some YouTube videos and see if there are any settings that could bring it down a little. Thanks!

ParticipantI did but nothing seemed to be using that much juice. It doesnt seem to be a problem, i just got a little spooked when traktor froze. This was only the second time it froze and after a reboot i was fine. My laptop PC has worked good, and hopefully it will continue to do so.

ParticipantI see ur point. Hopefully my S4 will connect with no problems.

ParticipantThats what i was thinking also. I just could not understand the upside to having an X1 when u have an S4. Like i said, i wasnt completely sold on the X1. Unless there is some phenomenal thing that it does better than the S4. Thanks for the reply……..it helped.

ParticipantI do like the idea of 2 F1’s for samples, but even one F1 has 64 samples so that may be plenty. I dunno, maybe i’ll return an F1 when they arrive.

ParticipantIll be at the bar on tues or wed so ill just take my S4 there and see whats up
Ben Thomas
ParticipantYes it is.

ParticipantUr right on the money. However, despite the S4’s many knobs and buttons, it doesnt have as many (and i hope im saying this right) input / output connections on the back. The Z2 has many options in that aspect. I didnt get a chance to hoom up my S4 (the other dj had already set up) but my instincts are telling me that my S4 should be fine, like u said. Guess ill find out soon enough. Thanks for the reply. I have alot of questions because ive been dj’ing for 6 months, so more questions are coming.

ParticipantThanks brothers, you’ve given me some ideas.

I had to mess around with it a bit because I’m also PC and the only examples in the app manual were Mac but it worked great. I even played my full, live set with it that night and didn’t have any problems. Download the app and manual and just follow his instructions.
