    how do I select say 1000 tracks as I can only seem to select 1 page at a time?

    Thanks DJ Vintage, I think the first step is to sort it all out in the root directory as you stated.

    I think I will start the arduous task of starting a whole new root directory first and seperate my DJ tracks form my overall collection. Cheers I appreciate your post, B

    I am going to use traktor, so I still need to work out the importation process and how I manage them once they have had their grid done and locked down and then how I identify beat grid tracks versus non beat grid tracks.

    Is this bettr off done in traktor or via root directory folders?
